54321 DRAW FINALE - WHAT WOULD YOU DO WITH €4,000 OR €5,000?
Dear Members and Parents,
We are excited to announce that our €5,000 and €4,000 draw will take place on Saturday, October 19th, during our Golf Classic event.
Astroturf Fundraising to date
As a football club, we are committed to sharing the cost of this fantastic facility with Clonmoney National School. The total cost of the development is approximately €250,000. We are dedicated to ensuring that this facility is completed to a high standard, serving our community for many years to come. While the facility is nearly complete, some work remains, including lighting and outdoor toilets. To date, the school authority has funded the development, and we have received €104,000 from the Sports Capital Programme. Bunratty Cratloe FC are taking out a loan of €20,000 towards that cost and our joint fundraiser with the school has raised a further approximately €40,000 through fundraising efforts, but we still have a way to go.
Many of our members have already bought tickets however we are asking our members to make one last push towards sales whether through buying tickets or sharing with others. Imagine what you could do with €4,000 or €5,000! If we had to hire this facility, we would need to ask for weekly contributions from players so it is hugely beneficial to us from a day to day perspective.
Corporate Support
Our Golf classic on 19th October is a club fundraiser to help us meet the annual day to day running costs of the club however on closing of our draw fundraiser on the day of our Golf Classic, we will be reaching out to businesses for specific corporate donations towards the
astroturf project which will help bridge the remaining funding gap. If you or your company can provide sponsorship, please contact Cathal Jones at 086 8109230 for further information.
Our club currently supports 22 teams, ranging from our “Kickers” boys and girls teams to our Men’s Junior and Ladies teams and we now have over 400 members . The Clonmoney Astro Turf facility has been crucial in allowing us to train and play more matches, contributing significantly our growth. On the field, just last weekend, four of our teams competed in the Clare Cup/Shield Finals, with two teams winning the top prize. Additionally, our U8 boys won a trophy at a tournament in Salthill. Our club continues to grow, attracting new members regularly, but we need your support to maintain this momentum.
Thank you all for your continued support. It is greatly appreciated by every child and adult playing for our club. The success of our club and teams is in all of our hands.
Yours in Sport,
Bunratty Cratloe FC Committee
