What an incredible and historic day for our club as Bunratty Cratloe FC claimed our first-ever national title! 🔵⚫️

Our U14 girls travelled to Kilkenny last Sunday to take on Renmore AFC from Galway in the SFAI National Trophy Final.

BCFC made a dream start, taking the lead after just 5 minutes through a brilliant strike from Amelie Brennan, but Renmore responded quickly, equalising just 3 minutes later where the score line remained 1-1 at HT. The second half opened up with both teams creating chances, but we regained the lead on 49 minutes thanks to Sophia Moroney & with 11 minutes remaining, Ciara Lohan sealed the victory with a fantastic finish to secure a famous 3-1 win.

A huge thank you to Renmore AFC for a very sporting game, to the SFAI officials, and to Evergreen FC for hosting the finals.

Thank you to all our amazing supporters who travelled on the day and gave the girls incredible backing throughout the game with their singing and encouragement, the support from the entire community has been absolutely incredible, and the send-off the girls received on Sunday morning truly set the tone for the day ahead.

The homecoming celebrations that evening were the icing on the cake, with the girls and management welcomed home like celebrities.

Thank you also to all the parents and families for their unwavering support throughout the season. Your commitment, from lifts to training to travelling across the country to support the team, played a massive part in this journey.
