U11 Blue and Black teams had pre season games against Bridge Utd this morning in SMB. Bridge were obviously out of bed earlier and better prepared for the 9.15 kick off and got a few goals up in both games early on. Our boys were a bit shell shocked and struggled to adapt to the large pitch which is very different to training sessions in the Astro turf.

2nd half was much improved and the players bedded into a much better shape. Some goals at both ends in both games in the 2nd half made it much more competitive.

We finished by playing a 20 mins game against the opposite Bridge teams and both these games were competitive, One draw and one narrow win for the Bridge.

Overall a lot of lessons learned before we travel to play Tulla on Thursday night, when we hope to have our full squad back from rugby commitments this morning.
