The U11 Girls welcomed St. Pats AFC to Woulfe Park yesterday evening for their opening league fixture with a 6.30pm kick off. Having agreed to 9v9 with St. Pats, it gave us to the opportunity to call up some of the U10 girls also.

Right from the start the girls impressed and although it was their first time playing together as a group it certainly didn't look like. Great performances from one end of the pitch to the other, plenty of skill on display, great passing, top class defending ensuring a clean sheet was kept and plenty of goal scoring.

The girls got to play in different positions throughout the game, some even ended up playing for the other team at one stage, but none of it fazed the girls and all gave 110%.
