CSSL U11 Girls League

7.30pm BunrattyCratloe FC vs Tulla United

The U11 girls continued their great run in Tulla yesterday evening. A good, contested match, the girls had to work really hard tonight against a tough Tulla side, but again they gave it everything.

Goals from Lucy Twomey and Caolinn Earley, with a 5 star team performance with great passages of play and defensive work. Special mention to Lara Magee who had a superb game, along with the four goalies (Kate O'Neil, Lara Magee, Lily Purcell and Grace McNamara) who kept a clean sheet- all who volunteered to go in tonight (for once)- no 'i' in this team 💫

Ailbhe Halpin rock solid in defense, Annie Purcell and Lucy Jones who ran a marathon to cover and press tonight. All the girls gave 100% from start to finish, fighting and working together as a team to win the ball back from a very resilient Tulla side. By far the girls best team performance and credit to the Tulla team for giving us a very entertaining game. We look forward to welcoming them in the return fixture in Bunratty.
