Very entertaining game tonight in Woulfe park against neighbours Newmarket Celtic.

Both teams were evenly matched and some nice football played. Bunratty Cratloes defense of Kate o Neill, Lucy Browne and Ailbhe Halpin, backed up by Grace Mc Namara in goals ensured Newmarket had limited chances to take the lead. Nil all at half time, Newmarket scored first but we replied quickly after some good work from Sophie o Doherty to level through Cara Earley. Unfortunately Newmarket scored straight away and even though we pressured them for remainder of the game their keeper made some great saves.

Special mention to Caragh Hayes, Cara Earley, Lucy Twomey, Faye Harrington and Lily Purcell who worked tirelessly in midfied and Caoilinn Earley who ran her socks off in search of an equalising goal.

Great effort shown by the whole team who never gave up.
