The last week has been very productive for the Ladies team. Last Tuesday saw a 1-0 win at home to Aisling Annacotty, Amanda Madden with the winner. This win secured the team’s place in Division 1.

This was followed up with a Junior Cup semi final victory v Ballylanders. Another 1-0 win, the goal coming in the 80th minute when a clearance from Leah Kelly cleared the opposition defence. Ciara Lysaght managed to get in front of her market and chip the ball on the volley over the onrushing keeper. Very difficult game against an awkward and resolute team, but the ladies kept probing and would reap the rewards. The game also saw the return of Rebecca Dalgarno after a 3 month injury lay-off.

Just the one league game left away to Murroe and then onto a final in Markets Field on the 17th September @ 12pm. Tickets will go on sale online and we will share the link once it goes live.
