Week 9 here we go - 10 left standing into this round, it's all to play for !! Week 8 saw 4 knocked out, Liverpool (1) losing away to Nottingham Forest, highflying Arsenal (2) held to a draw v Southampton and Leeds (1) losing to Fulham.

West Ham (7) were highly fancied to beat Bournemouth, and they duly obliged. Aston Villa (1) bounced back to beat Brentford 4-0, Everton (1) had a convincing win v Crystal Palace , Fulham (1) won a 5 goal thriller v Leeds, seeing 10 in total through to round 9.
