Ladies had their first game of the season tonight and came away with a dominant 5-2 win.

As it was the first game of the season it took a while for the girls to settle in but at 41 minutes Emma Nolan opened the scoring with a great goal into the bottom corner. From there Sharon mcGorrian slid in bravely against the keeper and was able to make it 2 nil just before half time on 44 minutes.Second half saw bunratty settle in again but Aisling annacotty pulled one back making it 2-1 at 56 mins bunratty were straight back in and a cross into the box saw Emma Nolan head the ball into the top corner leaving the keeper no chance at 60 min. Amanda madden made it 4-1 at 72 min and Sharon mcgorrian made it 5-1 with a great goal from outside the box at 77 minutes . At 81 minutes a tackle inside the box gave annacotty a penalty leaving the score 5-2 at the finish .
