Bunratty Cratloe Blues v Connolly Celtic Greens

The blue half of the U11 squad put on a scintillating attacking display with two goals each from Kate O'Neill and Caoimhe Ryan, along with a solo strike from Muireann McMahon. It was not all smooth sailing as Connolly provided enough problems to keep the defence honest. The development from the girls over the last few weeks has been fantastic as they get more comfortable on the ball and are really starting to express their passing game.

The black half of the squad made the trip to Gort, accompanied by the U10 trio of Aoife, Willow and Alianna. Aoife opened her U11 account with a volleyed goal, but captain for the night, Amelie, really took control of the game scoring a hattrick and hitting the crossbar another two times. The defence had to put in a shift with Lucy and Annie flying into tackles all game. Special mention goes out to Aoife, Katherine and Caoimhe who have shown tremendous improvement over the last few weeks.
