The U13s girls were very unlucky to go out in the semi final of the cup yesterday evening Against Bridge Utd.
A hard fought game where the hosts made the break through. However, the girls battled and got one back through a great free kick from Emma, converted by Caoilinn.
The match would prove to be extremely even, with both teams having their fair share of chances and equally effective passages of play.
We had a great opportunity to finish the game with a break from Sophie which lead to a great save from the keeper. We lost concentration after the water break and conceded two quick fire goals in the space of 2 minutes.
The girls were upset after the game however they were told to lift their heads because they done fantastic to get to this part of the competition. A great group of girls with some super talent. It's only a matter of time before they are laced with silverware.
Hard luck girls, they left everything on the pitch and can be very proud of their overall performance.
