Our U12's (or U13 National Cup) side beaten today by a very impressive Caherdavin Celtic side. Unfortunately we started poorly with a number of unforced errors that allowed them get a couple of sloppy goals. From there they grew in confidence and aggression and our lads stepped back and the game was lost at half time.

We re-arranged the shape for the 2nd half and to be fair all the lads stepped up the intensity, kept it scoreless and we were unlucky not to get in for 1 or 2 ourselves.

Despite the score line Donnacha Halpin was the best player on the pitch and excellent performances also from Sean O'Gorman and Conor Brady in particular. Tough day out but hopefully we all learned a little from it.
