The 11s lost 2 - 3 at home to Killarney Athletic today in the under 12 National Cup. We started brightly and Mark O Neill scored with another headed goal from a corner in the first minute. Killarney then started to impose themselves and scored 3 very good goals with some great passing and movement which we were struggling to deal with to put them 3 - 1 up at half time.

We reorganised at half time and put Conor B and Diarmuid into defence which gave us a very sold platform and had the better chances in the 2nd half with Gavin Jones scoring our 2nd with 5 minutes to go. Unfortunately we couldn’t find the equaliser.

The players were very disappointed at the end but getting their shield medals and some goodies put the smiles back on their faces!
