The Ladies continued their league campaign against a tough Murroe side.
Bunratty dominated the opening 20 minutes but Murroe would get back into things.
Bunratty would have the better of the play and keep creating chances, mainly through Amanda Madden who had two shots saved well by the keeper. Murroe were a constant threat in behind, finding some joy behind the full backs.
The second half time would be much of the same. Murroe would have a goal rules out due to a very tight offside call. The deadlock remained until a Leona Bridges free from the right was tapped in by Amanda Madden. Murroe would pile on the pressure for the last 20 minutes, hitting the crossbar and forcing keeper Caoimhe Nolan into 3 good saves.
Ultimately, the ladies would show great determination to maintain their clean sheet and register their first league win of the season.
